One day all this will be basil

Eggshell seed starters. Cleaned and ready for action.

Filled with soil and basil seeds.

Now we wait 🙂

I have more basil seeds and more eggshells that I might plant in a couple of weeks.

I love the idea of using egg shells! So you can just plant them straight in the ground right? Easy, free and environmentally friendly!

Planting them straight into the ground would be the plan if Tofu didn’t have free run of the garden! That pesky little furball stops us from planting anything straight into the ground. I might give the shells a little tap before planting these into straight into bigger pots just to give the roots a head start.
