Pork dumplings with prawns and pasta

I always make enough dumplings to feed a gang of rowdy cats, so there is always plenty to freeze.

When faced with no fresh food in the house, at least I’ll have a bag of frozen prawns, frozen home made dumplings and some dried pasta to work with.

Pinch a few basil and spring onion leaves from the pots on the deck you got yourself an easy dinner.

  1. yum, oh and I made your honey spiced kumera wedges, they are the bomb, thanks for the recipe !

  2. two clashing cuisines: italian and asian. LOVE IT. dumplings are wonderful, pasta is wonderful and then the two together: DOUBLE WONDERFUL.

We eat so many different types of cuisines these days I often forget that I’m even merging them together. I guess the next logical step would be Italian ravioli paired with Chinese noodles.
