HAPPY FEBRUARY! February is hosted by Chinelo from Good Cake Day. Theme: Love in all its forms.
We all have bucket lists. Whether they’re written down somewhere or kept in our heads and hearts.
Our Growing Edge is the part of us that is still learning and experimenting. It’s the part that you regularly grow and improve, be it from real passion or a conscious effort. This blogging monthly event aims to connect and inspire us to try new things and to compile a monthly snapshot of what food bloggers are getting up to. If you have a blog and are planning to write about a new food related experience, join us!
More info on the event can be found here.
Some ideas you could try this month:
- Cook a loved one’s favourite meal
- Make up a recipe using an aphrodisiac
- Host a Valentines Day dinner
- Feast on your favourite food
- Make an edible gift to give to people you love
- Cook a romantic dinner for two
- Pack a picnic, your loved one/s and go somewhere beautiful
Foodie bucket lists
Recently a few local bloggers shared their new foodie bucket lists inspired by my foodie bucket list. It was both an honour and exciting reading these lists. I learned a few things and realised I had some buddies to inspire me to tick off a few more things on my list. I started Our Growing Edge to encourage others to be more adventurous so seeing all your foodie bucket lists has been heartwarming. If you have a foodie bucket list, post the link in the comments and I will add to my list.

January 2016 round up
Jess from Little Girl Story is the host and the round up will be posted over on her blog this month. Jess suggested the theme RANDOM YET CREATIVE which called for contributors to share their cooking, any original recipe that they created from anything random they came across in their fridge or supermarket shelves. In short, just last minute meals, something they throw together with whatever ingredients available.
Below are some of the submissions from January’s edition of Our Growing Edge.
