Taste of Auckland in partnership with Electrolux is back for the eighth year in a row. Running from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 November 2016 and once again at Western Springs, Taste of Auckland will be settling in for 6 sessions over 4 days of al fresco dining with wine and cocktails.

Menus
The menus for the day have been announced here. I’m super keen to try Farina’s newest Taste offering…will it take the title of Best in Taste for the third year in a row?
Some dishes I’ve got my eye on:
- Paris Butter: Clams with escargot butter 6 for 12 crowns
- Depot: Anything freshly shucked 6, 8 or 12 crowns
- The Culpeper: Pork Belly Corn Dog with barbecue sauce and pork crackling 8 crowns
- Fish: Ora King Salmon with ‘gin & tonic’, lim, cucumber and juniper 12 crowns
- Farina: Morton Bay Bug Lobster Surprise 12 crowns
- Tok Tok: Crispy Hapuka Dry Red Curry with toasted cashews and pickled chilli 12 crowns
- Artwok: Shui Jiao, pork and prawn dumplings served with black vinegar 12 crowns
- Miss Clawdy: Southern Fried Jerk Chicken with chipotle mayo 12 crowns
- Ima Cuisine: Knafeh with Kataif pastry, goat cheese mozzarella, syrup and pistachio 6 crowns
