Sarah-Rose from Eat, Bake, Love awarded my blog with a best blog award.
I also enjoy her blog and while I’m not much of a baker, but I can certainly appreciate eating and loving.
Basically you have to answer a few questions about yourself and award 15 blogs with the best blog award and perhaps send a note to let the others know they have also been awarded.
The Questions
Whats your favourite colour?
It used to be red, but now I think it must be purple.
Whats your favourite song?
Feeling Good by Nina Simone.
What is your favourite dessert?
I’m not a sweet tooth, but I’m a sucker for cheesecake. Mum used to make cheesecake in a big roasting tray. But she stopped when she realised that I was pretty much eating the whole thing by myself.
Whats pissing you off?
The rain.
When you’re upset you…
Get a headache and want to go to bed.
Black OR white?
Black, but with a white fluffy rabbit, white would be a much wiser choice.
Biggest fear?
Public speaking or confrontation….Oh I know, public confrontation!
Your best feature?
What is in my head. At least that’s what the zombies tell me.
Everyday attitude….
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
What is perfection?
A wonderful meal with wonderful company.
Guilty pleasure..
Rich food and hot springs.
FINALLY – award 15 blogs
These are all blogs that I read regularly. Their writers all enjoy food and are kiwis or based in NZ. Enjoy!
Paula is a kiwi currently living in Melbourne and cooks hearty food.
Alessandra is from Italy and is now living, eating and cooking in Auckland. Her blog is jam packed with deliciousness and you probably won’t even notice that she is vegetarian.
Auckland based dining out blog with photos. The locations of the reviews puts Nom Nom Panda right by me.
Wellington based cooking blog about real, honest (but interesting) food.
Amber lives in Auckland and her blog is about a million interesting topics. I guess you could say this blog is centered around Auckland. But perhaps after next month, Amber’s blog will be all about London.
Nessie lives in Dunedin now but like me, has also lived in Auckland’s North Shore and in Hong Kong. The food on her blog is a good mix of naughty and nice and a generous splash of Cantonese.
Is my little sister’s blog. She paints delightful things and is also a magnificent baker.
Delaney eats and cooks in Wellington and cooks on The Good Morning Show. After having her heart broken, she turned to cooking. These days she is heartbreak free although I think cooking is here to stay. Like The Koala and I, Delaney also had a visited Thailand and Laos last summer.
Easy Food Hacks is from Malaysia Borneo but now resides in Auckland. Her blog is about her travels and the delicious food she eats and cooks. She mostly writes about food from Asia, especially Malaysia.
Lucy’s salmon header photo gets me every time. I looooove salmon. Lucy writes about cooking and baking from somewhere in NZ.
Are Miriam, Becs and Libby live in Auckland and Christchurch and regularly flit around the country eating delicious things.
Vanille is French but now lives somewhere in New Zealand. Her blog is bilingual and sweet in more ways than one. Her photography is breathtaking.
Mairi is an Auckland blogger cooking up a storm using fresh and seasonal produce.
Laura is from rural South Auckland and now bakes and cooks in Wellington. She bakes lots of yummy cakes and is pretty on trend when it comes to new recipes.
Zo is based in Christchurch and writes about vegetarian and vegan cooking. Her recipes are quite healthy without sacrificing taste. Zo cooks the kind of food I would eat if I ever gave up on meat.
Geee thank you! I am on holiday now, I will think about those questions in the meantime
🙂
Ciao
Alessandra

Hello, thanks so much, I feel very honoured! Lovely to have found your blog – I am very inspired by your winter to-do list, I wonder if it’s too late to make my own…?
