Our Growing Edge September 2014 round up

Our Growing Edge September 2014

Our Growing Edge September 2014

Thanks to Corina from Searching for Spice for assembling the monthly round up. Read it for yourself here.

This month is the 20th edition of Our Growing Edge! Jules from The Kiwi Diaries is hosting. Jules is a graphic designer living in Auckland but is from Argentina and is currently galavanting around the globe. I can’t wait to see what interesting food she encounters this month.

Our Growing Edge is the part of us that is still learning and experimenting. It’s the part that you regularly grow and improve, be it from real passion or a conscious effort. The monthly event aims to connect and inspire us to try new things and to compile a monthly snapshot of what food bloggers are getting up to.

There is no theme, although if you would like to host and suggest a theme, please do!

Our Growing Edge is open to anyone. It is not a competition and there are no prizes or winners, it is just a way  to share new experiences. You do not have to commit every month, just when you have something to share. To enter, you must blog about achieving a food related challenge that you have meaning to do (or redo). It could be easy, like tasting a new food or difficult, like cooking a life long nemesis recipe. It could be building or growing something an edible garden, or successfully preserving food. As long as it is food related and new to you, you can share your newly learned knowledge with the group.

Last month I enjoyed experimenting with Peking Duck and now I feel pretty confident I can whip this dish out at any time. I’ll just have to keep some duck breasts in the freezer and I’ll be all set.

The start of this October has come with really bad news and really good news in my life. I think this will be a rocky month but I hope you all find some fun and exciting food adventures. Hope you all have a great month!

I love your comments! Your comments are like extra melted cheese on top.
