A blind, fluffy rabbit hesitates on the threshold.
It’s been sunny but cold lately so Tofu the bunny wasn’t too sure if he wanted to go outside to play. In the end he decided yes. But first he sniffed and examined everything on our deck before making his way down the stairs and into the garden. Our deck is a bit of a mess at the moment with potted plants and washing baskets for Tofu the bunny to carefully consider with his whiskers. Anything he “chins” is claimed as his.

Was Tofu born blind or did his blindness occur later?
Hi Paula, he developed cataracts as he got older and 2 separate eye infections resulted in enucleation (eye removal). As he went blind gradually, he adapted well to it. Sometimes I suspect he doesn’t even realize that he is blind.
