Keeping up with the Holsbys – First Ever Guest Post

Image

I wrote my first ever guest post this week and it’s up now over at Danielle’s blog Keeping Up With The Holsbys.

I shared a recipe I make often, in many variations and is pure comfort food to me. A basic pork and shiitake mushroom wonton recipe including steps on deep frying and noodle soup. Check it out here.

Nah… I don’t have discerning taste buds. I just like soupy dishes especially on extremely hot days like today.

Funny how you eat soups and also spicy foods where it is hot. It doesn’t hot here so I like soups most days, but especially when it is cold.

It’s the heat. I get all parched, so a thin easy to drink soupy noodle dish does beat “cling to your throat” stuff like rice and pasta. But definitely not hot soup though. It shocks a lot of people, but I generally drop one or two ice cubes into those Asian soups before I start on them.
