Tofu Tuesday: Onitsuka Tigers

In March last year, I blogged about these Onitusuka Tiger rabbbit sneakers by Erik Kriek. They didn’t have them in my size back then and I had already resigned myself to never owning the limited edition kicks.

Well last month, thanks to this blog, a lady from the other side of the world contacted me about a brand new pair that also happened to be my size. They arrived last week they fit me perfectly.

Tofu gave them his seal of approval.

    • I paid the same price as I would have if they had my size. I’m happy with that. I’m a wearer. Never a saver. Life is too short to keep collector’s items in boxes or in storage. Besides, I haven’t the discipline. 😀

  1. Hopefully he’s not chewing on the laces! We haven’t had the Dust Buster around for six years and I’m still finding things with her little chew marks in them.
    Cool sneakers.

    • Tofu nibbles leather shoes and handbags, rubber jandals (thongs) but he has yet to nibble laces. I always have to warn people coming over. Keep your leather goods out of reach. For a vegetarian, he has quite a like for leather.

      • My Dustie loved to chew on my hoodie’s laces; she would just gnaw on them, leaving a gobby mess behind. Sigh, I miss that bunny.

  2. I freaking love my tigers. The evil bunnies on the sides look like my India. <3. I'm getting a little sick of Flatpac styling my clothes and shoes. Maybe I should be putting them away quicker. She hates mess.
