This is serious now

this-is-serious-now

One New Year’s Resolution down.

I just bought the URL www.bunnyeatsdesign.com. It’s like getting a real cape made for your superhero costume. Tea towel cape is no longer required. This must be serious now.

Hush now all you bloggers out there that have had their own URL for years.

p.s. Old links still work. Bonus!

  1. YES!!!! I remember when I bought mine! It was this weird feeling like I own real estate or something. Well, I guess it is real estate, just the virtual kind 🙂 Congratulations on the next step!

    • Straight through WordPress. I would recommend it. Amazingly pain-free. I was expecting it to be hard, but links are all updated for you and the old links work too. I was dreading that I might have go through hundreds of posts to check the URL were correct.

Congrats, girl! Love that superhero bunny too!

  3. Yeah! After three years I finally got agrigirl also! Congrats. I love your bunny.

  4. Congrats on your domain name!! :3 It’s exciting, isn’t it? Did you just purchase the domain through wordpress.com or did you do a wordpress.org migration?

    • Hello Nom Nom Cat! Any relation to Nom Nom Panda?

I only did the wordpress.com route. WordPress.org is a whole different kettle of fish. I’m not sure that investment is worth it for me. I could learn html, but that would take too much time away from eat, cooking and blogging and I’m not sure that learning html would gain much for this blog.

      • No relation — just more animals that like to nom (or nom nom, as the case may be). :3 We’re on wordpress.com too. The migration process seems quite daunting…. In any case, enjoy your fancy new domain, and keep the bunnies coming!

  5. To be honest, I didn’t realise that you could run without your own link. Ahem. I probably shouldn’t admit all of the things that I don’t realise. There are many. Congratulations!
