Barry M is a cruelty free cosmetics company. Check out their Christmas commercial starring Hendrix the bunny. As you can see, bunnies are not fond of wooden floors or make up. Click here to see more editions of Monday Bunday.

Danling Xiao and Sceroz Chan are responsible for this Christmas card for White Rabbit Gallery. I love how they have used blue and red rather than the traditional green and red combo. I particularly like the rabbit having a lie down next to the table. Both The Koala and I like to do this when we’ve eaten a bit too much, although The Koala prefers face down and I prefer face up. Danling is a print designer working out of Sydney, Australia but she has roots in Hong Kong, while Sceroz Chan is based in Hong Kong. Together they are The Flying Room, an online design store full of fun and whimsy. Graphic designing/illustrating Chinese girls that like whimsical stuff? Where do I sign up? You can view this card and more of Danling Xiao’s work over on Cargo Collective here or even more work on her Behance page here. You can view Sceroz Chan’s work over here on her Behance page. How adorable is this branding project? Coelho means “rabbit” in Portugeuse and Coelho Films represents a cinematographer from Brazil.

Squeee! Timaru-based TradeMe seller Weta20 recently listed item “Wooden Robot Rabbit”. Let’s take a moment to appreciate how awesome this is.
We don’t have a thanksgiving type holiday here in New Zealand, I think we really ought to. This tiny Hamster Thanksgiving video is all sorts of wonderful. Seriously, seriously cute.

How cute is this new rabbit teatowel from Future Presence? Get yours this week for $20NZ at Collected by LeeAnn Yare or in their Mt Eden store. They have heaps of bunny related things there. I’m like a kid in a candy shop. Also available in owl and fox prints. Click here to see more editions of Monday Bunday.
Spring time in Auckland is a rambunctious somersault. I have to carry both sunglasses and an umbrella every day and sometimes, I use both at the same time.
I stumbled across this rather lovely living room shot on Pinterest and on further investigation, found out it was the living room of British artist/interior designer Rory Dobner.
Today is my birthday and it’s been exactly one year since I turned 30.
This gig poster for band Now The Rabbit Has The Gun features um…a rabbit with a gun. It might not be the most original concept for the band name but it’s soaked in history. With Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd scenes in the background, this character also gives a cheeky wink to the “Golden Age” of American animation. A time where cartoons like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Donald, Daffy, Popeye and Tom & Jerry took the world by storm.
I recently saw this rabbit to human years table over on the Three Little Ladies Rabbitry page and was inspired to design an infographic featuring a photo of Tofu. At 7 human years, Tofu the bunny is 57 bunny years. Hopefully, he has some good golden years left in him. This might seem like a strange way to present bunny ages, but you should neuter (or spay) rabbits from 3-4 months old and in bunny years, that’s roughly when they reach puberty at 10-12 years old. Waiting until a rabbit is 1 year old (or 21 bunny years old) before neutering (or spaying) would be irresponsible. Feel free to Pin, repost or distribute this infographic! I am available for infographic work (bunny related or not). Please contact me or check out more of my design work on my Behance page here.
I’m a fan of the Avett Brothers. I guess it’s odd to me because no one I know ever mentions them so I assume they must either be uncool or a dirty secret.
Tofu the bunny has enjoyed supervised outdoor time 3 days in a row. We let him out before the 2 weeks of restricted time was up because he’s been healing really well and outdoor time adds so much to his quality of life. Mental health is just as important as physical health!
Upon researching “blind rabbit care” last week, I stumbled across some gorgeous burger porn from Jacksonville, Florida.
Uh oh, another surgery So…last week, Tofu’s corneal ulcer went from completely healed to a brand new corneal ulcer followed by a very bad infection. A corneal ulcer is just a fancy word for a scratch on the surface of the eye. With a blind eye that is constantly open, it is prone to things poking in there and scratching the surface which can quickly lead to infection. By quickly, I mean quickly! On Thursday it was decided by the vet he must have his eye removed (enucleation).
