Our landlord cut our grass in the weekend. Woot! It’s nice being able to sit on the lawn again. Not that it stopped Tofu before.
Tofu’s winter coat has shed and his molting has ceased it’s assault. He’s basically wearing short shorts and a singlet in this photo. Maybe he needs a lilo, a paddling pool and a cocktail with umbrella?
Ok, call me silly, but I just realized now that Tofu is the name of the Bunny (great name BTW) and for ages I was coming here on Tue and asking myself why I couldn’t find a tofu recipe… hahaha lol lol lol 🙂
lol. Sorry to disappoint.
Our Tofu is cream coloured, soft, vegetarian and mild. We don’t really eat much tofu to be honest. I like it, but husband isn’t so keen.
What an adorable bunny. I suspect he/she is a little devil!
He’s naughty but his charisma makes him exempt from our disapproval.
ARGH!!! My little Flatpac does the same thing with her little bunny feet. Tofu is a mini lop? They always have a little bubble butt!! Flatpac isn’t much of an outdoors lover. She prefers the carpet or couch. If I take her to the park she creeps around like shes on a mission to avoid the grass at all costs.
Awww, Flatpac sounds like a princess like our old bunny Sharmi was. Tofu loves outside and inside equally. Though I suspect that he comes inside to get pellets. If pellets were available outside, he might be happy to roam free 24/7.
Tofu is a lop, but I don’t think he is very mini.
We once took Sharmi (bless her grumpy soul) to the park and she spent the whole time sitting on my handbag. She didn’t like the way the concrete felt under her feet. She was old and quite set in her ways. She was an inside bunny through and through. She didn’t like to leave her corner of the room. Ever. When we had open homes and hand strangers walking through the house, she just sat on her chair the whole time and staunched them out. She never once made a run for the door.
Funniest thing happened last night to little miss FP. I took her to ‘family dinner’ at my dads and my step mums shitzu was there. They were absolutely infatuated with each other. It was the cutest little bonding session I have ever seen. Flatpac and the dog, walking around together getting into mischief. Will tofu bond with any other animals?
Awww! That’s sweet.
We have lots of cats in the neighbourhood, but there is a particular new cat, named Georgie, all black, flat face, orange eyes. It’s really timid, but the other day, I caught Tofu and Georgie nose to nose through the wire fencing. The cat could just jump over, but it chose to hang out on the other side. I wanted to take photos, but I knew that the moment I made myself known, Georgie would scarper.
He reacts differently to different cats so it’s cool to know that he judges them all as different “people”. Cat friends come and go for Tofu and once, there was a cat that he chased out of the yard. I’ve only seen that happen once. Never saw that cat around here again!
Tofu has met a few dogs, but he’s never been all that keen on them.
