A little while ago, a dude contacted me about doing a pet portrait illustration for his partner who reads this blog. This is resulting drawing of Bunny and Henry. I took a few creative liberties. Done in black ink pen, coloured on the computer.
I enjoy drawing pets so if you have a special someone you would like imortalised as art, drop me a line.
Very cute.
Thanks. But cool too right?
That it quality!

Thanks Food Is The Best Shit Ever!
My cat doesn’t deserve it. Do you do kids?
😉
I could probably do kids. What whimsical activities should they be performing?
Love their hats!
Thanks Lyn. The dudes have excellent taste in hats 🙂
How awesome! You’ve got skills!
Awww. Thanks.
What a sweet illustration Genie. It’s so cool that you coloured it in on the computer—did you use photoshop?
Hi Eva, I usually colour in Illustrator. It’s just what I am more comfortable with, though I am sure most would prefer Photoshop.
Interesting. I like the spray paint tool in photoshop, it gives you the option on how heavy you spray the paint on!
So cute! I used to be able to draw, but it’s been years since I have done any drawing. I was also never as good as you 🙂
Drawing is one of those things that people stop doing because they think they’re no good. Some of the best drawings come from people that aren’t classically trained. I think everyone is able to draw. They may just be shy about it. I always encourage those who say they can’t draw, to draw. Especially those who like looking at drawings, but don’t draw. They are usually quite surprised by what happens.
