Forget what you thought you knew about bulk food bins, this stuff is is gourmet. Over the summer, I got to sample a few Alison’s Pantry goodies which I shared with anyone who would eat them with me. Funny enough, it’s not so hard to find friends to sample sweet and savoury tidbits. I even roped in a few strangers. Equally at home in your snack drawer or on platters for entertaining over summer. OoooOOhhhh yes! Another giveaway! Such is the festive season. I love giving stuff away, don’t you? I’ve been to  Auckland Seafood Festival many times and if you love seafood, it’s a great day out. It’s kid-friendly and adult-friendly and a great way to try lots of different seafood in quick succession. I love a giveaway and this one coincides with Bunny Eats Design reaching 300,000 hits. Yikes! I remember how excited I was when this blog reached 1000 visits, then 10,000 visits. Thanks to Sealord, I have got a summer prize pack to give away. My sister Joanne Ho who paints under the name Helo Birdie, had a solo exhibition a couple of weeks ago at Mea Culpa in Ponsonby. The turn out was great and while her painting style has evolved considerably since her last show, there are still some food themes going on there.

Bunny Eats Design turns 4!

I can hardly believe it has been 4 years since I started this blog. One day I started and just forgot to stop. I’m a little horrified that I’ve published over 1000 posts over 4 years. With around 250 views a day and over 1000 subscribers, I feel incredibly blessed to have an audience. It’s amazing how anyone can start something and put in the passion and man-hours and suddenly you are “a blogger”. I’ve enjoyed using this blog as an excuse for adventure. I’ve eaten some amazing things (fish laap in Laos, mantis prawn in Borneo) and some gross things (bile in Vietnam). I’ve also enjoyed eating crickets, alpaca, snake, brains, eyes, and hearts.

Behold! Mexico here you come!
