Tofu Tuesday: Tofu and Cream

tofu-cream

Meet Cream the bunny.

Cream is moving from New Zealand to Japan today and we wish him and his family a safe journey. Last weekend, Cream and his owner, Yoshi came for a play date to meet Tofu and to say goodbye.

The Koala and I met Yoshi through The Japanese Art Festival which he runs. Over the years we have become friends, first exhibiting our work and more recently, helping with the design, promotion and running of the event. The Japanese Festival will be sadly missed as Yoshi and family move back to Japan.

Tofu hasn’t seen a bunny in about 5 years so this was a very special visit. Tofu was the dominant one but Cream had his sight and therefore the upper hand. Cream also showed us a few binkys (random twisting rabbit jumps) to say he was quite pleased. The bunnies were  curious of each other and Tofu took his time carefully examining Cream’s carry case while Cream explored our house.

The Koala even got to hold both bunnies at once.

I love a man with bunnies.

    • Thanks Amy. The camera I have is the NikonD300 DSLR but the more important part is the lens which is 35mm f1.8. It has a big aperture which means I can take photos at night without flash.

  1. What an adorable montage of Bunnies and the Koala. Lucky guy gets to hold two at once. When we first adopted Spunkie and Spud JT held one in each hand, these were do small! Our first bunny together was almost repulsed by other bunnies, he didn’t know what to make of them. Good luck to Cream and his journey to Japan.

  2. It’s sad, I guess, that I am so unoriginal. But every time I see Tofu, all I want so say is aaaaaaaw. And double it for these pics!

  3. I too love a man with bunnies. I’m so suprised that you didn’t have WW3 on your hands. The time I had with Flatpac and Archie – ARGH. Unhappy memories!

    • It surprised us too. They were very well behaved. Mostly curious, though Tofu would be the dominant one if I had to pick. I suppose it was his territory so Cream was on defense and Tofu was on attack.
