It’s getting cooler here in Auckland’s autumn. Last night we turned the heater on for the first time (real low).
Tofu the fluffy rabbit can still be found outside every day. He runs outside on his own and some days he even comes inside on his own. Not bad for a blind rabbit. On rainy days he insists he’ll be good and once outside, he usually finds shelter. He loves routine and being outside during the day is his life.
One of his favourite spots to lounge is under the stairs.
I have to commend the rabbit. He sure knows how to sunbathe. Head and butt perfectly positioned in the sunshine. Can you imagine how good that feels?
*Bliss*
LOVE. IT.
My previous bunny Spunkie would press her butt up against the radiator in the winter, hot butt!
Cute! Tofu isn’t so much of a warmth fiend. He overheats quite easily. In winter, he can be found nestled near the door, the draft that escapes from the bottom must be enjoyable for him.
Tofu is the cutest! I wish I could lie in a patch of sunshine ‘n take a nap too 😉
I think both rabbits and cats have a talent for good sunbathing 😉
Here we’re the opposite, turning off the heaters now!
Tofu is so cute. I had a bunny once. She was a Netherlan Dwarf named Pooky. She had a thing for telephone cord and cinnimon red hots. Thank you for sharing.
Aww Pooky!
You’re right! Perfectly positioned. I got to the last photo and said, “AWWWWWW!” to the screen!
